The piece challenges concepts of branding. The patch on this sweatshirt and the lock on the chain are from a real Louis Vuitton bag, but the shirt and the chain are not. Meanwhile, the #SOFAB logo design is original, but the Louis Vuitton monogram is not designed by me. Does it really matter to really label it real or fake? Just like the shirt is tied by the chain and lock, sometimes we are bound by constructs of truth and falsity. Who is authentic? Who is an imposter?
