This piece includes fourteen defective Academy Award trophies, and one finished trophy with a statue of me instead. We all show different facades to different people all the time, we are all acting in our lives. Critics say facades create an inauthentic self, but I feel facades help us survive the hard moments in life. We should honor them. Everyone deserves a trophy; everyone deserves a center spot in their heart.
